MODELFORM, VISUAL COMMUNICATION
Frida Eklund Edman is a graphic designer and illustrator by education, working multi-disciplinary on freelance basis within the fields of art direction, graphic design, illustration, photography, styling and interior design.
In 2001 she founded the business as a sole proprietorship, it was renamed Modelform in 2008, and then became a part of the Modelmaxi Corp wich she owns together with partner Erik Jorlin. Since 2001 she has been working with several Swedish design and advertising agencies and own clients. (See clientlist). All together she's got nine years of wide designstudies. She graduated in 2004 from graphic design and illustration-bachelor studies at Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm. She was recived with a honorary scolorship established by the school principal, Tom Hedkvist.
She is now based in the small town of Östhammar in the beautiful northen archipelago of Stockholm, Sweden. Apart from the major occupation, solving design tasks, she also runs a small shop and online store named "Modelmini" specalized in kids fashion, toys and uniqe vintage pieces of clothing and furniture for kids.
When not working on new designs or managing the shop she likes this sort of things: hanging out with kids, family and friends, renovating the townhouse/apartment from 1886 wich she lives in, snowboarding, spending time at or by the sea, dining, dancing, reading countless numbers of interiordesign magazines and books, redecorating, crafting, making grand plans for the future and so on....
